looks great. love the colors. it's a little difficult to read the red "Clock Opera" on featured posts because of the way it hits the background on that specific one - will probably happen again in the future with another, I'd assume. So may wanna look into that. Otherwise, I feel weird telling a computer tech genius who's helped me out anything about his site, haha. I like it a lot though - more personable than the other.
A lot easier to read (re: not as flashy as previous). The only thing I noticed was the blogroll tab on the right column, it has one long titled blog (The Devil Has the Best Tuna) and it doesn't truncate the line, but essentially does a hard return and creates another line below. The top of the "T" of "Tuna" can be seen underneath as it is a capital letter but not the rest.
Looks good - I like the tabs for that section - I need to figure that out!
This one is a lot more me and a lot less basing on a theme and more blog than before which is what I've wanted to do for a while. I guess being relatively unemployed means I can spend time on it :)
@Lee - I see what you mean, but I'm not sure about changing it yet. I could turn the background a little darker, but I'll see how often we run into that issue first I think.
@Slowcoustic - I have to admit, that is something I "borrowed" from a different theme, as have always loved it too. I'll send you the html/css if you want?
Really like the new layout, the only thing I noticed was that the margin around the main images at the top of each article could maybe a bit bigger on the right hand sides or perhaps the same width as the margin underneath the image.
I like the Sharing Is Caring bit, subtle but effective!
I like it man, really good and clean. Noticed that with the logo, you can't mouse-over the "Home" button like you can the other links. Not sure the easiest way to fix that, but I'm sure it's possible to figure out??
@Agnes - yeah I feel more comfortable in the blog format. I'm pleased I tried a magazine-style theme for a while, but I think this suits our content better.
@Jason - that was dependent on screen resolution because of the layering of the logo, but hopefully that should be fixed now for all screen sizes, would you mind checking it out again?
Looks good Tim. This is me being a little picky, but I would put the tabs below the Twitter and advertising/contact. Because when the tabs have different sizing--it moves the Twitter and contact up and down the sidebar, which is a little irritating if you have a small laptop and are trying to multitask on your website. Obviously, this is minimal, but yeah--I like this a lot more than your old site which was a little overwhelming. Great job!
