Hypem is owned by Buzz Media? W00t?
  • Hey wait a minute. Is all blogs owned by Buzz media now? (or everybody in Brooklyn that is)

I just hope HuffingtonPost won't eat BuzzMedia too... LOL.

  • I feel like this came up before, and Anthony explained that they weren't owned by Buzz Media but were just part of the Buzz Media network. But I might be making that up.
  • yea, I'm pretty sure they just handle advertising for Hypem
  • Correct, they sell our advertising.

    http://hypem.com/#!/about <- is more authoritative :)
  • All those adverts are so boring....

Should take over / rent one of those abandoned brooklyn warehouse, pick one with the biggest acoustic, set up shop, turn it into studio. Get a camera, and start shooting fun wacky short clip of music video.

Everybody is within 50 miles radius anyway. Might as well have an open house. Here is a camera, a computer port, and try not to polute the internet with boring stuff.  Who needs record company or TV studio when you have perfect acoustic hall?

    Camera, Action...

kaching... (You just become the next mtv, biggest next youtube attraction)
  • I don't think the world belongs to those who produce actual content, squashed.  More to those who get between the consumer and productive people and charge a nice commission for doing so.

Actually making shit is so Nineteenth Century.
  • is it all in the legal contract or are they also controlling the net channel? I guess warner cable, ATT do try to control the gate. and streaming.
  • You have to admit though, HypemTV would be the sex.
  • Yeah let a camera continuously running in a giant acoustically perfect warehouse. Any artist can come in and run riot on it.  It will be like when Beastie boys first come out, nobody knows how to define it. It'll the greatest channeled noise NY ever put on to destroy any speaker from a building since CBGB.

It will be banned on 30% of planet surface and melt the rest of available intercontinental fiber optic from overload.

It'll be the first free open floor concert paid for by internet advertisement that people will talk about for next 2 decades. It'll be the biggest music event ever conceived. It literally grind global communication system to a halt cause it soaks up so much bandwidth.

It will redefine what open air concert suppose to be. It's digitally global and instant.
