Last year around this time I wrote about Jesse Landen, the brother of a friend of mine.

"he's a singer-songwriter who self-published an ep that's just fantastic music. they recorded it in a really interesting style - it's got a very beach boys kind of recording style - yes, it sounds kind of unprofessional, but thats honestly part of the charm. it's really PERFECT summer music. this will be in my cd player all summer. absolutely no questions about it. it's really got some of the best harmonies i've heard in quite some time.

From what I understand, he's become a professional skateboarder and for the time beind, has given up on the music dream. But I certainly hope he picks it back up - his brother says he will. This will appeal to you if you like singer-songwriters, harmonies, melodies, or good music.
