Sixeyes Is Now Hipstereo (kinda)

    Well, sixeyes is still there, bleeding like a stuck pig... meanwhile I'm starting from scratch with a new blog called Hipstereo. So, if you want to link it, please do. Thanks for all the support at sixeyes over the years. 

    Just thought I'd add that I'm still in Kitchener/Waterloo, so, if you owe me money... at least now you know the general vicinity.

    Nice one - *Sixeyes was one of the first blogs I ever read.  Did you just feel you needed a fresh start?  Will it be radically different?

    Hey Chris and SbT,

    I'd wanted to start fresh for a while, but was afraid of losing all my readers, then I just grew tired of it. I wasn't discovering music that moved me as much as I once had. I know Sixeyes wasn't one of the first music blogs, although I'm likely one of the oldest blogging about indie (i'm over 50), and the age thing might have something to do with it. But now I have the itch again and I should mention another part of it is I always change things up in a creative way. It's either fooling with the guitar, drawing, photography, writing and a couple things I'm likely forgetting right now. 

    As to any difference between the two blogs? None, I only know one way to do it.

    Oh the olden days when it was just Sixeyes, Muruch, Largehearted Boy, Fluxblog, Said the Gramophone, Tofu Hut and that obscure Britney Spears blog, Stereogum. ;) Good to have you back old chum.
