Yeah it is all no more - a shame, but Aaron's busy with the photo/nudie zine and still on twitter, etc - still part of the blogging scene even if not actively a music blogger any more
Thanks guys! Gotta be honest with ya, I ain't missing it (yet). It was a lot of fun for a long time, but my heart & my passion isn't writing about music but taking pictures and arts & crafts (which in my case is currently making zines, but also I'm getting excited about making some gnarly head pieces for shoots (really inspired by the work of Philip Treacy for Alexander McQueen)).
Most importantly, I'm happy!
As for music blogging, let's just consider what I'm doing in that realm "music blogging 2.0" aka tweeting/facebooking/tumbling/google+ing musical goodness here & there. Perfect for me, for now.
With me, it's finding the time to write proper, intelligent, thought-provoking posts about music you really care about, rather than just posting "Here's The Weeknd!!!! ;-)". With a full time job and two kids, time is short. But I'm still getting people subscribing, commenting and reading, even if I'm only posting 6 or 7 times a month, so it's nice to know there are people out there who like what I post.
