My Sitemeter counter just suddenly went away. One minute it's working, the next clicking on the link defaults to the main Sitemeter page. It's a free account, so it's not like I didn't pay the bills. I've written them but not heard back.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any clues?

sitemeter crashes every now and again, but always comes back. you may or may not lose numbers for the downtime, but I wouldn't sweat it too too much.

Hm...the thing is, other blogs that use site meter have functioning meters...but mine is still down...which made me worry it was my blog. Is a partial crash common?

You could contact Sitemeter?! I believe Sitemeter uses several dedicated servers to do its magic - it might be that you are on a server that is currently down and those "other blogs" with functioning meters are on a server that is up.

Are you sure you're logged in? If you have your meter set to private and you arent logged in, clicking on the link takes you to the main page.
