What was #1 on the day you were born.
  • Have you ever done this?

Some people say our life is influenced by what song was #1 on the day you were born.

    My number #1's are:
'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US
'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK
'Ben' by Michael Jackson in Australia

    See which songs you get

  • Hell's teeth!

I got Imagine - John Lennon of Plastic Ono Band fame (where is he now - anyone know?) in the UK and The Tide Is High by Blondie in the US.

As far as I'm aware, in Australia 'Down Under' by Men At Work has been at number 1 since time immemorial, so I didn't bother to check.
  • Aus: La Bamba - Los Lobos (???)
US: I Think we're Alone Now -Tiffany (??????)
UK: China In Your Hand - T'Pau (????WTF????)

I have never heard of any of those artists before.
  • timnuoa - I think it's actually illegal to be that young, on the basis that it makes me feel really, really bad.
  • My brother (who writes the other half of the blog) is 16, admittedly he is 2 months older than timnuoa
  • Practically a veteran then.

I wish Linda and Marcy and Tim CP were around here more - they made me feel less like an old stager.
