Some Honest Opinions?

    I have been blogging for about 6 months now and how the time has flown. MFM is my first blog and it's been hard work getting it the way I like it. Yet, doing it for 6 months I have never had any proper critique, maybe a 'ah nice layout' or 'I like the colours' from friends but nothing from anyone with any experience. Any honest feedback would be welcome! Cheerio.

    Wouldn't touch a thing. Everything about the design, color and flow is very appealing.

    yeah, i only have good things to say.  it's really clean, it flows really nicely, and you've got some great music.

    Hey MFM,

    One thing I would definitely do is go into your Wordpress settings and change the domains for posts so that they actually contain the title of the post, rather than ?p=457. It's much better for search engine optimization, and looks cooler on top of that.

    Also, depending how much you've modified the theme, you might want to remove the link to the designer's website in the footer of the page (I could be wrong -- maybe Custard Creams is an internal joke!). Even the "Powered by Wordpress" part could go.

    Loving the little broken hearts for "liking" posts. Overall, it's great, clean work!

    Thanks for all the feedback! Really glad you like it. I think the clean, light design is a lot easier to read imo.

    @jason cheers for the suggestions, didn't think about the link names and it looks a lot better now I've changed it cheers. I've removed the powered by wordpress and 'custard cremes' thing it was just a test for coding. For removing the original coders link I can't see it? I chose a very minimalist theme and cut it down, I thought I cut out all the hyperlinks etc. any chance of pointing it out?

    I like the layout a lot.  I recommend getting the Facebook fan box on there though. More people will subscribe via Facebook in the future with it.

    Thanks Jess, I did have the Facebook like box but I just thought it looked so ugly and didn't fit in to well. I completely agree it would boost my page - can you edit the box - remove the border etc? I am willing to compromise.
