    I finally finished giving the blog a proper redesign. Main differences are the new banner and much more prominent social networking buttons on the right hand side bar. I'm also going to start moving more into HTML5 and SoundCloud for hosting tracks.

    We just brought on board a new photographer/graphic designer so that we can have more original images in our posts. We used to use my own photos but I have run out of decent shots!

    Trying to get the Blogroll up to speed as well, let me know if you want to swap links, the more the merrier!

    Nice stuff! Refreshing! I loved the original design but this is a good move forward, also the focus on the social networking side is a good idea.

    Off topic: I saw you are doing gigs at the Cavern! Awesome! Do you live in the south west? I live in North Devon so I'll try and get down there on the 16th!

    Happy days, I was on the lookout for Devon bloggers! I've been a student at Exe uni for 3 years (from Essex originally). I'll give you a buzz nearer the date and see what the guestlist situation is looking like. I've put you on our blogroll.

    Thanks for the kind word on the layout, I liked the last one too but I wanted to try out something a bit less scruffy.

    Incidentally, are the ads at the bottom of the righthand sidebar on TBW through an agency? I only ask because I got approached about doing something which looks similar

    Are you talking about the text links? Yeah they are through Text-Link-Ads.

    They make me ~$40-$50 bucks a month, so nothing to write home about, but it all adds up.
    One word of warning about them though - Google frowns upon selling text links and has been known to penalize sites that do so both in their rankings and in their PageRank. I haven't noticed any decline in ranking but they did knock me down one PR point by the looks of things - just thought I should raise it.
