Multi-blog Hangover mixtape

    Whaddup y'all,

    I know it's been done a few times before but I was wondering if anyone fancied helping us out with a mixtape? I wanna get a mix of tunes that help a hangover along.

    Stick all suggestions on here (preferably with a link to an mp3 or summin' similar) and once we get to a decent number I'll put it together.

    I'll be sure to link to all the blogs who get involved so if nothing else you should get a lovely trickle of traffic for your efforts!

    What sort of drunk?

    - totally smashed, brain won't reboot. I don't even know what planet, what era or if civilization exist .. gimme death metal, begin with something slushy then faster, reboot my brain
    - It's Sunday, little tipsy but happy, get me in light mood.. beach boys, beatles, j pop... then indie rock..keep the buzz going.
    - It's Tuesday, I lost my dog, my car, my house, my job,  I need more drink, Blues, metal jazz avant garde, something like Zorn...or whatever experimental house rock NY is about to ban. Keep it dark and hallucinogenic. Pass me the bottle.

    - next day after party, clean up apartment type of song...(more like working song/monday list)
    - let's have more orgy ..
    - the english tea blend. north east alternative plus whatever is playing UK college indie rock chart.

    need more information..(plus any particular style? strictly indie rock, stick with latest blog theme and texture)

    I've pretty much just been sticking on the MMoths and Tourist debut EPs when I've been hungover recently. Lovely and soothing.

    On Forgetting is incredible and would be a nice track to cure a bitch of a hangover.

    I tried to build one, but ended up digging through 90's hip-hop/digable planet.  (probably need to get my head smashed to have some inspiration, will try to do something fun this weekend.)

    don't have a list yet...not drunk enough to build one...
    But if I ever be in permanent alcohol coma...these are the 3 songs that I want to play permanently in my head for the rest of eternity... (probably I should be careful what I wish for...lol)

    Song number one: CB Song by The Legendary Shack Shaker. It has the greatest blues punk bass lick. I think the real acoustic contra bass makes it much more evil. powerfully so. You feel alive! Roaring like an 18 wheeler trucks
