New Website Re-Design

    After 2 years of keeping the same clean and very minimalistic theme, I decided to finally change the look of my site and completely overhaul it. With a few new features and completely different look, I'm hope that I have made a more impressive looking and memorable website. However, there are few things that I just can't put my finger on that don't seem right. I have looked at other blogs for ideas but there is something about the stylings or look that just doesn't seem right to me. I would love to hear what you guess think, and more importantly what you guys think I should do to improve it. I still like the overall look but I would love some criticism to point me in the right direction.

    I really like the new design, its easy to find content which is always good. However i personally think you might have too many bold fonts going on or maybe its just the typography.

    Yeah I was thinking about making the popular post and related post images smaller as well. Also what do you think of the changing header, I think it might be kind of distracting?

    Yeah maybe down to  about 100 x 100px. I was thinking that actually, im undecided about whether i like the fact it changes image on each page load. I did actually rather like your last header with the moving plugs thing. Also maybe consider adding an about page, i always enjoy reading them as it makes it everything a bit more personal when you know more about the people behind the blog.
