Video: Friends Electric - Fireworks (official video)

The new Friends Electric single would seem to owe a little to Delphic - you’d be forgiven for thinking the Manchester band had already returned. There’s nothing wrong with that (at least not in our opinion, as we loved Acolyte), but what makes it even better is that the video for ‘Fireworks’ is a beautifully-shot affair that adds rather a lot to the atmosphere-laden electro-pop soundtrack. Tweet Things are coming together very nicely for Friends Electric. A couple of singles in and their body of work is developing in such a manner that it shouldn't be very longer before the band finds themselves becoming beneficiaries of the hype machine. Witness the new single Fireworks as an example. A simple and clean slice of electronic pop that has no muss and no fuss. Just a solid single that flows.
