Even though Nude With Boots wasn't one of my favorite LPs from this year, this performance and this song from the album are both pretty awesome. Plus, it's pretty funny to see the band play into the show's pre-written, puppet-lead sketch. If this visit to the alternative kids' Pancake Mountain proves anything, it's that not enough people dance at shows. We could all take a lesson from the little ones, couldn't we? The Melvins recently visited the children's program, Pancake Mountain to record a segment. The wildly popular Washington D.C. cable access children's show was created by Scott Stucky and Monkey Boy Studios and has featured collaborations, performances and appearances by a wide range of artists including: The Evens, Henry Rollins, Anti-Flag, Ted Leo, Thievery Corporation, The Arcade Fire, MIA and many more.
