The Toronto Jazz Festival has taken over various venues across the city until July 4, offering up lunchtime gigs, early afternoon workshops, evening concerts and late-night jam sessions for fans of every possible genre of music. As you will see from the above sign, Ms Staples did not quite make it to her performance at the Sage the other night (nor to Basingstoke Anvil four nights later, according to my dad).
