Video: THREE TRAPPED TIGERS '1' Official Video

Tipped by everyone (including us) as one of the bands to watch in 2011, indie-dance trio Three Trapped Tigers have announced their debut album. The album follows the release of three EPs, and it's called Route One Or Die and will be released through Blood and Biscuits on May 30th.

Not only is Three Trapped Tigers a successful book by Cuban writer Guillermo Cabrera Infante, it is also a slightly less famous post-rock trio from London, UK. It definitely says something about them that they are touring with post-rock pioneers 65daysofstatic , as if their glitchy techno beats and Aphex Twin inspired IDM electronica didn't say enough. You definitely cannot fault their work ethic either - within a few weeks of forming as a band they had recorded their first EP together, and within seconds they had named their tracks after numbers from 1 through [...]

The fierce and playful beginning to "1" by Three Trapped Tigers can only be accompanied by grainy shots of smoke-stacks and chaotic lighting on the raging band. In calmer parts of the song, the camera follows an old man on his motorbike traveling through different idyllic landscape-the beach, fields with horses, etc. The band seems to commiserate with the man through the mellow and seemingly sad parts, but these bits give way to a roaring intensity.

Three Trapped Tigers have the new video to accompany their latest track '12. Confusingly '12 will be released on August 17th on the bands new EP titled simply 'EP22. So just to clarify, that's the single '12 on the EP 'EP22, which just so happens to be the follow up to EP1. Are you following?
