The latest addition to Flying Lotus' résumé? Film director. Well, not yet, but he's working on it. According to an interview with LA Weekly , the multi-talented Los Angeles resident is looking to expand his time behind the lens into feature films. You might remember that he made his directorial debut earlier this year by way of a few killer videos for Bilal and Erykah Badu. While FlyLo isn't ready to divulge exactly what he's up to in the film world, he is hoping to start working on a project soon. [...]

Most famously known for her controversial videos Miss Badu has decided to tone it down a little for her new video Gone Baby, Don't Be Long. I don't think I've ever seen her act so conservative! A very stark contrast from her naked 'Window Seat' video which I believe she is still on probation for.

Now Flying Lotus has directed videos for Erykah Badu and Bilal . Sounds like Mr. Ellison has the neo-soul bug or maybe even full blown Baduizm. The lack of public nudity might stop this from getting as much attention as the "Window Seat" video , but I liked animated spaceships just as much publicity stunts disguised as artistic statements.
