According to UK tabloid The Sun, Lady GaGa is in the running to compose and perform the next James Bond theme. The as yet-unnamed film is due to hit theaters in 2011. Whether the garish songstress makes the final cut remains to be seen, but if so, she'll join an elite roster of past performers including Paul McCartney, Duran Duran, Chris Cornell, Carly Simon, Tina Turner, Tom Jones and Lady GaGa's personal heroine, Madonna.
