Last time Paul McCartney played the Ed Sullivan Theater it was really great for his career. And since last night's encore was 45 years in the making, David Letterman gave him the whole show. Sir Paul reminisced with the Late Show host -- Ed Sullivan was scary, "Paul Is Dead" was strange, working with Michael Jackson was great ... until it was "just business" -- but the memorable stuff happened outside on the marquee. There the ex-Beatle performed "Get Back" and (the Fireman's) "Sing The Changes" for broadcast, and "Coming Up," "Band On The Run," [...]
