Pop artists spend waaaaaay too much money on music videos. Sure, Katy Perry and Kanye West's video for "E.T" is visually overstimulating, mesmerizing and intricately detailed, but it's also a whole lot of sensory overload with little story line. If they slowed it down I might be able to appreciate its vividness, but as it is you get lost. Perhaps that was the aim. Who knows?
