White Hills' new record H-p1 has been on repeat around here since Thrill Jockey sent it over and its as massive a piece of psych as you're likely to hear in 2011. Of course the first video from White Hills ' new joint is 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Duh. Thrill Jockey was nice enough to send this guy our way first - an awesomely goofy send up of Black Sabbath-style videos, packed with swirl transitions, thermal acid colors, kaleidoscopic effects, and start-stop footage of the band throwing down hard like it was the bicentennial. This is the title track to their forthcoming full-length, Hp1 , out June 21.
