This Sunday (9/25), we in DC have the pleasure of being able to see The Rapture at U Street Music Hall , but for those of you who might not be dancing through the night with us, you can still live vicariously by winning this autographed poster! The poster is signed by bandmates Luke Jenner, Vito Roccoforte, and Gabriel Andruzzi, whose current hit "How Deep Is Your Love?" is the first single from their new double LP In the Grace of Your Love [...]

The Rapture - 'In The Grace Of Your Love' (UK Release: 5 Sept '11) // Words: Rajan Lakhani The Rapture have returned with their first album in five years and it’s a far more intimate record than their previous output. This should be no surprise given the tumultuous personal times lead singer Luke Jenner has experienced since the release of 'Pieces Of The People We Love' , which included the loss of his mother, [...]

This is the latest single from the dance-punk, NY-based band for the upcoming album 'In The Grace Of Your Love' . The Rapture caught my radar around 8 years ago when the epic single "House Of Jealous Lovers" released. They never let me down since then. ♫ The Rapture - How Deep Is Your Love? Electrical atmosphere in the office of Grandcrew. A very productive morning indeed, but we manage to put out a playlist with the tracks that made our 2011 year so far. It wasn't easy, it's obviously not detailed but here's the 100 tracks or seven hours of music that Stan Bertin, Thomas Folliot, Delphine Dyèvre, Nicolas Bessol and Anousonne Savancomkeo curated. And because we're cool, we made you a Spotify playlist that you can grab here, enjoy !

Before the release The Rapture will be heading to Europe later this summer for a short tour, including dates in Manchester and London.

The Rapture at FYF Fest 2010 ( more by Rachel Carr ) The Rapture , who are back on DFA go on a short European tour at the end of August in support of their new album In the Grace of Your Love which comes out September 6 in the US. The first installment of our wonderful festival guide led you to the north, south, east and west of Great Britain, as well as hopping over the Irish sea to pay a visit to our lovely neighbours. We showed you what July had to offer on the music front and where you had to go to hear it, from (hip) Hop Farm to leafy Latitude, from the mysterious Secret Garden Party to the musical delights of Truck Festival. The second part of our journey sees the festival season creep over the cusp and into the (potentially) balmy heat of [...]

Company Flow reunion? That's what I hear... Word. Also. The Rapture’s first track “How Deep Is Your Love?”, off their upcoming album “In The Grace Of Your Love” (out on September 6th via DFA), as part of DFA’s White Out Sessions video series. Definitely an ass wigglin' tune. DFA White Out Sessions - How Deep Is Your Love? by The Rapture from DFA Records on Vimeo . more in the rotation: [...]

It's been quite some time since we last heard from The Rapture (about five years to be exact). And, unless you've been avoiding the internet or still waiting for the actual Rapture to come, then you probably missed the news that The Rapture have returned and are set to release their new album, In the Grace of Your Love , on September 6th. The album is the follow-up to the band's 2005 major label debut, Pieces of the People We Love . It sees the now three-piece group returning to their former label home, DFA, which is really [...]

Want to be excited? The Rapture has a new album ' In The Grace Of Your Love ' coming out in September. If this seven minute dance number is what they're bringing I am definitely buying! " How Deep Is Your Love " is a perfect track from the Rapture we all know and love. DFA White Out Sessions - How Deep Is Your Love? by The Rapture from DFA Records on Vimeo .

Rarely a week goes by at Gigantic where a track from The Rapture isn't played. They're just so damn good to dance to. They have a new album on the way, which was announced when everyone was banging on about the 'end of the world' style rapture. That's the kind of coincidental marketing that bands can only dream of. Here is a wee video promoting their new track. It's amazing how little DFA need to make something so cool. A white label vinyl, a few stamps, a record player and a [...]

If the Wellington Power Corporation had not already irked my ire by damn near surging all my office appliances with their confounded SmartMeter installations, it seemed like this was a week for our sacred cows to tarnish the credibility that we hold dearly for them in our collective hearts. This week we had Lou Reed composing some 10 songs for Metallica to arrange, Paul McCartney re-releasing McCartney I & II to cash-in on his aging baby-boomer fans (in case they forgot about him), Big Sean ...
Após uma mais que prolongada pausa, os norte-americanos The Rapture estão de volta e não mostram de forma alguma qualquer sinal de cansaço. Basta ver o novo vídeo de um novo tema que a banda está a promover, "How Deep Is Your Love?"

Happy Wednesday, y'all, from the Florence, Kentucky water tower . The good news is that by lunchtime, you will have officially made it halfway through the work week, that much closer to the sweet redemption of life brought forth by the weekend. The bad news is that at lunchtime you'll still have 50% of the week to go, but with each passing moment, that percentage gets lower and lower until you find yourself at the wonder that is the Friday evening exit from the office, without a care in the world until Sunday night when you startread [...]
