I haven't quite jumped on the Frank Ocean bandwagon yet. He seems to be the guy bringing sexy R&B back to the scene and one can only imagine what he's got lined up if he managed to work himself to having two feature spots on "Watch the Throne" . "Swim Good" was everyone's favourite track off Nostalgia, ULTRA though and that's with good reason. Brilliant single. Brilliant mixtape. Like everything to do with Odd Future , the video to this is abit left-field. Nabil [...]

Fav Tracks Arguably the most infamous member of the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA) crew outside Tyler the Creator himself, Frank Ocean is a bit of an outlier amongst his cohorts. Opting for sensual crooning on accessible backtracks in lieu of brutal raps over oft-grating beats, Ocean has built a rep for [...]
Frank Ocean - Novacane Video is a post from: 100 Best Rap Songs Related posts: Frank Ramz - Fresh Everyday K'Jon ft. Obie Trice - On The Ocean (Remix) Stretch Money ft. Crane Novacane - I'm Talkin Bout Fresh

R&B upstart Frank Ocean has written songs for the likes of Justin Bieber, John Legend and Beyonce, as well as working with hip-hop giants such as Nas and Pharrell. He is also a member of LA hip-hop collective Odd Future . But don't let the latter put you off or taint your first impressions of the singer. Frank Ocean's position in Odd Future seems like a NFL team keeping their college all-star quarter-back and first draft pick on the subs bench, hidden from view and unable to truly perform and achieve his full [...]

There's been a lot of attention on Frank Ocean recently, you could argue it's because of the rapid rise from Odd Future and every member of the gang being pounced on by the media. Or you could also argue that it's because he's actually got talent. I'll let you decide. None the less he's let loose another official clip for his track "Novacane" and he's keeping with the weird angle that OF are renowned for with a video seeing his face become distorted and jittery. Almost slow motion at times, much like the effects of Novacane. It draws [...]
I went a little overboard for you this Friday with extra videos, but they are well worth the few minutes each they add to your procrastination. Especially the interviews of Arcade Fire by Damian Abraham , which are laid out in three parts at the bottom of the post. Try to be patient though before skipping to them, because you might miss out on great videos with Frank Ocean, Memory Tapes and Best Coast . Happy watching! Frank Ocean's "Novacane" frank ocean [novacane] from [...]
Admittedly the whole Odd Future thing isn't really for me, but Frank Ocean I can get with. Here's the video for his single "Novacane".

On July 26, Def Jam will commercially release Nostalgia, ULTRA. , the debut mixtape from their new golden boy, Frank Ocean . The OFWGKTA cohort released the mixtape on his Tumblr page earlier this year in defiance of the record label who had lost its faith in him. The tape was a smashing success with both critics and fans, and now Ocean's latest list of studio-fellows ( Beyonce, Nas, Pharrell, Kanye West, Jay-Z ) reads like a Who's Who in contemporary hip-hop. This should [...]

The visual glimpses continue with Frank Ocean , most recently for the official video release for one of his finest tracks to date "Novacane". The whimsical description for this stunning piece is copied below from datpiff , which gives a solid run-down of the beauty offered... Download: "Novacane" Previous: "She" ft. Tyler The Creator (Official Music Video) "Acura Integurl" (Official Music Video) "U [...]
Frank Ocean released some visuals for his song "Novacane" off his album "Nostalgia, Ultra". The video starts with Frank Ocean smoking and continues into a psychedelic drug trip featuring women spawning from smoke, pandas, tigers, and warped images. IvyLeagueSpins doesn't promote the use of drugs, but for those of you that make that choice, the Odd Future blog suggests it with a note on their site saying, "Watch this video on drugs"(couldn't be anymore straightforward with that request). Gotta say this is a dope vid though, props to the director Nabil for providing us with some great visuals to back [...]

If the Wellington Power Corporation had not already irked my ire by damn near surging all my office appliances with their confounded SmartMeter installations, it seemed like this was a week for our sacred cows to tarnish the credibility that we hold dearly for them in our collective hearts. This week we had Lou Reed composing some 10 songs for Metallica to arrange, Paul McCartney re-releasing McCartney I & II to cash-in on his aging baby-boomer fans (in case they forgot about him), Big Sean ...
Been waiting on this one for a while? Well the wait is over. Frank Ocean finally delivers the visuals to his hit track "Novacane" off the Nostalgia, Ultra Mixtape . And leave it up to a member of the Odd Future crew to come up with an ending like this has. "What did the five fingers say to the face!"
Here's the official video for Frank Ocean's first single 'Novacane' from his upcoming debut LP.

Latest Frank Ocean video, directed by Nabil. His detachment from his surroundings and the spectre women capture the critiques he makes about Hollywood's superficiality.
