The folks at St. Louis Magazine obtained an exclusive content-coup when it enlisted native son Jeff Tweedy - lead singer of alt-country rockers, Wilco - to premiere "Dawned On Me," a new track from his group's upcoming album, The Whole Love . The publication assembled the following clip during its photo shoot with the lead singer at St. Louis' Peabody Opera House, showcasing Tweedy's acoustic rendition of the song. Shot in and around the newly renovated Peabody Opera House, Tweedy performs an acoustic version of 'Dawned On Me' - one of the many highlights from the forthcoming LP The Whole Love. Whilst the orginal carries an almost (dare I say it) 'boogie' feel, Tweedy's version here strips all that back and reveals a catchy sing-a-long number with bonus whistling to boot. Jeff Tweedy recently debuted a new song titled " Dawned on Me " in live acoustic form.

As  he's been one to do lately ,  Wilco frontman  Jeff Tweedy unfurled yet another new track from the band's upcoming eighth album The Whole Love all on his own. This time, during a break in a photo shoot for St. Louis Magazine , Tweedy took to the empty seats of St. Louis' Peabody Opera House to strum through "Dawned on Me" (via  Pitchfork ). With hardly a soul inside the theater's grand halls, the song sounds decidedly powerful and yet still tiny and intimate. [...]
