Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth performed the new single from his 2011 solo album, Demolished Thoughts on The Late Show with David Letterman .

I definitely thought Thurston Moore would've played a different track off of his latest solo effort, "Demolished Thoughts," but I'll be ok with the beautifully soft rendition of "Benediction." This album and the Jicks album lead me to believe Beck may hang up the gee-tar for a while and focus on the production aspect of music making.
