siamese dream was one of my first tapes. i'm 23, bought it when i was probably 10 or so, and i can honestly say that siamese dream was an album that shaped part of my childhood. it's a rare and biased title to have, but everyone has them tucked away somewhere in their memory. this was back when my friends and i me would call up radio stations and tape songs onto cassettes, when we'd drink slurpies and read comic books. this album never left my walkman, and still remains in my personal top-five to this day. Smashing Pumpkins returning has sort of been a big deal considering most 20 somethings fell in love with them over a decade ago and it was sad to see them end their run. Now back with a new band (sans James Iha and D'Arcy...which is it really the Smashing Pumpkins???
