Arctic Monkeys haben bereits zusammen mit James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco) mit den Arbeiten am neuen Album begonnen und werden das neue Album noch in diesem Jahr veröffentlichen. James Ford hatte bereits am dritten Album, dem Vorgänger Humbug mitproduziert und auch am zweiten Album Favourite Worst Nightmare der Band aus Sheffield mitgearbeitet. Die Arbeiten haben bereits Ende des letzten Jahres in London begonnen und werden in Los Angeles zu Ende gebracht.

Ik geef toe dat ik weinig origineel ben om dit album te bombarderen tot cd van de week, maar als het goed is moet het toch ook gezegd worden en de Arctic Monkeys did it again! Ze leverden een uitstekend tweede album af dat overal (zeer) lovend onthaald wordt. Muziek moet soms gewoon leuk zijn en dat kunnen we hier zeker horen op ' Favourite Worst Nightmares '. Here is the 411... - The sophomore effort from Interscope will be called Kala - The U.S. release date is June 26th, 2007. - "Bird Flu" is the first single.
