Ensemble Economique - To Feel The Night As It Really Is (by kohnkepik ) One of the best pieces I’ve heard from the EE to this day, off his upcoming LP on Dekorder. Contrasting the swinging drums in the back, there’s an ever growing tension given by the electronics and the repetitive percussions. The footage for the video is taken from Karl Lemieux’ ‘Passage’ and Jean-Pierre Bouyxou’s ‘Satan Bouche Un Coing’ and it accompanies the music well, but I would suggest this one for the final seconds of an epic original. Directors take heed!

Banqueroute, faillite, crise. Le monde arrimé à la pensée de l'impératif économique est laminé. Dans les arcanes d'une machine implacable, l'intime est confiné à l'indicible, le néant de l'interaction.  Ensemble Economique , soit Brian Pyle, Californien à la barbe rousse ayant déjà à son actif deux LP,  Standing Still, Facing Forward  sur Amish et  Psychical  sur  Not Not Fun , aurait pu se contenter de ne signifier de son électronique abstraite - rencontre mutante entre kosmiche musik et minimalisme synthétique - cette glaciation des atermoiements humains.
