December 6th on iTunes, accompanying tracks from the latest single by Toronto, Ontario's Crystal Castles will be released. The A-side of the single from the duo's album "II" features the smart remake of Canadian 80s group Platinum Blonde in Crystal Castle's cover of their song "Not In Love". This song went on to become another one of this year's most talked-about remixes featuring the vocals of The Cure's Robert Smith. Smith must have thought it very clever for Canada's Crystal Castles to be covering not only a band from CC's home province of Ontario, but also a rather glam [...]
Not In Love by this rather interesting constellation has been chosen as the "unavoidable" track of the week by Danish P3 . The track is free to download at RCRD LBL and I can only recommend that you grab it! No "real" video seem to be available, so this will have to do! Every morning when the girls and I are having breakfast the radio is on , and from time to time it does happen that some really fine [...]

crystal castles feat robert smith - not in love [though crystal castles recorded their own cover version of this platinum blonde 80's punk track, their biggest coup was to re-record the song with new vocals by the cure legend robert smith. trust me, it's a better track in the process! brilliant!] http://feeds.feedburner.com/Wo ngiesMusicWorld

I recall briefly listening to Crystal Castles back in '08 and thinking "Boy, I just don't get this". I was ashamed. They where everything I was supposed to like; I mean NME featured the bands eponymous release in their top 100 albums of the decade list, and heck, those guys know a thing or two about music, don't they? So, you understand my slight apprehension at giving the bands latest offering Not In Love a whirl. Interestingly this [...]
Here is this week's music singles chart. Sorry for the delay since I was busy with other stuffs. We have a new #1 song and its from a band that will be playing a show in Ottawa on November 4th. While there is two new debuts. One song I am totally in love is Adele's Make You Feel My Love. Which the power of X-Factor made it popular. Check out this week's singles chart. [...]

Two collaborations for the price of one post. Imagine all the muscle movements in your hand I've spared you from having to click on two different entries! Now you can hear two new songs in one place. First, Crystal Castles and The Cure's Robert Smith paired up to do a Platinum Blondes cover, "Not In Love." Sang mostly by Robert Smith and musically fronted by the Vancouver duo, this airy track releases December 6 with acoustic versions of "Celestica" and "Suffocation." But for now listen to it [...]

We couldn't choose which of these to write about today so to save time as an interesting exercise in eclecticism we're chucking them both in the same post. Irritatingly, we couldn't find a relevant picture to go with either song. Hence the picture of Barack Obama eating a ham sandwich. Another triumph for quality journalism. First up Crystal Castles . You know, the bleepy bleep people with the shouty lady singer. They have a song called 'Not In Love'. It's not a cover of the Enrique and Kelis duet (sadly), but it does feature [...]

Crystal Castles released a new version of their cover of Platinum Blonde’s “Not In Love”, and this latest version features the vocals of The Cure‘s Robert Smith. How cool is that? “Not In Love” appears on Crystal Castle’s latest album, Crystal Castles II, which was released earlier this year. According to Pitchfork, this version of “Not In Love” is the A-side of a single due out December 6th on Fiction. Dig it.
Crystal Castles ont injecté à une pépite pop 80s de Platinum Blonde leur sens du digital-noise en faisant appel au très célèbre leader des Cure, Robert Smith Après ça, on a plus envie de parler, mais d'écouter !

The Canadian electronic music duo Crystal Castles picked up a huge endorsement and collaboration from the Cure's Robert Smith this week. Together, they've reworked a track from CC's latest album, " Not In Love ." If y'all remember my review of the LP , I wasn't down with a lot of the tracks. But this new version's vocal clarity and hard-hitting chorus make me wanna do things the original didn't-you know, like press the play button again and again. Smith's passionate vocals bring so much to the song. Honestly, the collaboration [...]
So the new Crystal Castles album is out there and it beats through the hearts of many-many hip kids from both the indie and the electro camps these days. And that is fine since it is a cool album. Of course, CC's psychotic rampage of dance music spawned a horde of remixers. There are some cool names there like No Age, Punks Jump Up... and this is only the "Baptism" single. Thurston Moore did "Celestica", Mindnight Conspiracy and LightsoverLA did "Vietnam", Now I'm here to share my favourite of the official bunch (and not counting the Dirty Sky [...]

Listen to the new version of Crystal Castles ' Not In Love (from their second album) feat. Robert Smith. The song will be a single out in december.
Too sick to write, trying to get strength back up for Suede at Bush Hall tonight.
"Dude! Robert Smith of The Cure!" Well here's a pleasant surprise, Mr. Smith hooks up with 21st century digital noisemakers Crystal Castles for a remix of a song from CCII - 'Not In Love' which quickly becomes one of the best things the duo have ever done. The single gets an official release early December along with early acoustic demos of 'Celestica' and 'Suffocation'.
