Cloud Nothings released the fantastic Attack on Memory a few weeks ago and now comes this, a new video for its opening track No Future / No Past. Cloud Nothings' Dylan Baldi is taking a harder approach than his past offerings with the help of Steve Albini on Attack on Memory . 'Attack on Memory' does what it says on the tin. In this second release, Cloud Nothings have in fact, launched a menacing, music assault in the form of reinforcing '90s rock ideals. With Dylan Baldi at the helm, this relatively short, eight-track record keeps it short and sweet, but immediately gets right to the point. Building upon last year's self-titled debut , the band's sophomore effort takes advantage of a far superior production budget. FAUVE c'est Quentin, Pierre et Simon. Trois jeunes gaillards qui se connaissent depuis 10/15 ans. Ce qui marque le plus à l'écoute de Fauve ce sont les textes. Des paroles fortes et intenses , chantées avec la foi et les tripes, le tout sur une musique juste, parfaitement travaillée. Les influences de ce projet vont de Wu Lyf à Odd Future en passant par Arnaud Fleurent-Didier, dont on pourrait trouver une certaine similitude dans la voix de ce dernier lors d'une première écoute. Produced in conjunction with Urban Outfitters and directed by John Ryan Manning the footage features actor Mike Gassaway levitating inches above the ground becoming more and more terrified as he travels along: the calm, plodding drums and clear vocals descending into a frenzied cacophony.

Wilco has manifested itself into the cartoon realm - check out Tweedy & co. hand out spinach next to a docked Wilco ship. Maybe Wilco (The Album) should have been named Wilco (The Cartoon). This visuals remind me of Shlohmo 's video for Trapped In A Burning House ; weird because Urbs was co-producing the video..
