On the BBC Radio One HQs the HOT CHIP took to the station to cover the PRINCE's IF I WAS YOUR GIRLF almost two mins into their performance.

Hot Chip recently visited Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show for an in-studio session, during which they covered Prince's "If I Was Your Girlfriend," his classic track from his 1987 Sign "O" the Times . During a recent in-studio session for Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 program, Hot Chip dropped a cover of Prince's Sign “?” the Times classic  "If I Was Your Girlfriend . The band's version reworks the original's slow, sensual vibe into something more bubbly, like a Beatles tune infused with bits of synth-pop and reggae (and a great segue into their track "Look At Where We Are").
