Sacramento-based recording artist Raleigh Moncrief has gotten some buzz these days, for engineering and co-producing Dirty Projectors’ Bitte Orca and supplying backing axe for Marnie Stern - and, of course, his own playful and well-received solo efforts. The video below, directed by Miko Riverza, is “Don’t Shoot”, the latest from Moncrief’s Watered Lawn LP released last October on Anticon. Watered Lawn is anything but watered down. Raleigh Moncrief has been on a lot of people's lips as someone to look out for during 2012. The Sacramento producer has worked with some of the best in the indie music world, including co-producing Dirty Projectors' Bitte Orca and playing in the backing band for Marnie Stern.
