L'EP  Street Halo  fomenté par William Bevan - DJ dubstep anglais plus connu sous le patronyme de  Burial  - sortait en mars 2011 ( lire ), et ce de façon tout aussi inattendue que ne s'invite à nos esgourdes en ce mois de février le dénommé  Kindred.  En écoute partielle sur le  site  du label Hyperdub, cet EP, loin de révolutionner l'univers nébuleux et perclus d’infra-basse du Londonien, n'étire pas moins les distances séparant ses dernières productions du magistral LP  Untrue  (2007), baigné d'ambiance nettement plus claustrophobes. A l'instar notamment de  Loner , mis en images kaléidoscopiquement  par Miguel Bidarra & Inês Mendes, et dirigeant nos pupilles dilatées à la lisière d'un  dancefloor [...]

Burial is back with a music video for their track, "Loner", off of his Kindred EP. As of now, there are no scheduled performances here in Los Angeles for Burial. We'll keep you posted once we hear of any local...

Burial - Loner from Miguel Bidarra on Vimeo . Experimental dubstep producer Burial is setting 2012 ablaze with his new three-track EP, 'Kindred', which you can stream here . Featuring some of the most beautiful pieces of brooding electronica, 'Loner' is definitely the highlight, its delicate shimmering synths contrasting with moody beats. Miguel Bidarra has created an incredible idea to accompany the start, and its kaleidoscopic quality is truly stunning.

To me, Burial's music has always captured the idea of the loner.  Cold, biting percussion cutting through bleak sonic atmospheres always painted a picture of an individual lost in a city with no knowledge of his or her existence.  His use of vocal samples however, has always been the one humanizing element.  The deeply soulful voices of Burial tracks are the piece that prevents one from keeping too much distance, or even becoming callous while listening.  His newest EP, and single, "Loner" is no different.  Ominous synths pull you in to a straight forward, hard cutting beat, giving the track [...]

A (un?)official video by Miguel Bidarra for my favourite track from his new Kindred EP , which I highly recommend you pick up now on Hyperdub . 'Loner' is the shortest track on the three-track release, the tightest and the one mostly likely to be played in clubs. The other two tracks at near 12 minutes 'Kindred' and "Ashtray Warp' injecting Burial's trademark metal-clack dystopian rhythms with a freshness via arpeggiated synths and low bass rumbles.

And then there's the BURIAL whom I'm still to have a love affair with, you may love a him though, so here's his kaleidoscopic new video, LONER .

Burial 's brand new EP Kindred is set for release this week, and to build anticipation for the release, the London electronic artist has let loose the visuals for one of the three tracks, "Loner." Eerst was er de stream , en nu is er dan ook de videoclip bij één van de tracks van Kindred , de nieuwe ep van Burial. 'Loner' is een vervreemdende combinatie van trance, ambient, house en typische Burial-dubstep, en de caleidoscopische clip maakt de belevenis compleet.

I guess Valentine's Day befits the title of Burial 's newest video pretty well. There's really nothing astonishing about the video, just a basic kaleidoscopic view for a few minutes, but it's Burial's music, so there's some merit within. It comes from the recently released Kindred EP, which you can stream here . Check out the video below.

Burial 's forthcoming EP, Kindred (currently available for streaming ), will be released later on this week, and a video has been created for one of the songs. "Loner" features some trippy kaleidoscopic images, and while the video may not be the most exciting thing, the colorful visuals undoubtedly go well with the six-and-a-bit minute song. Touted as "the best producer in the world" by some people around these parts, Burial released his latest 3-track EP called Kindred over the weekend. Now visual artists and filmmakers Miguel Bidarra & Inês Mendes have created a kaleidoscopic video to go along with the EP's shortest track "Loner" (which still clocks in at seven minutes).
