Clap your hands say no. After eight years together, bassist Tyler Sargent and multi-instrumentalist Robbie Guertin have announced their departure from the DIY group Clap Your Hands Say Yeah . The news comes as a surprise to many as the band just returned from a four-year hiatus last September with their third album Hysterical . Clap Your Hands Say Yeah debuted their new video the other week for the spectacular track "Hysterical," which was off their most recent album. This is their first actual official video directed by Kris Moyes and it had premiered over at MTV . I will always remember the song 'The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth' from CYHSY self-titled debut album from 2005. The song was a phenomenal mix of indie sounds with a smash of intense rock music. Fast forward to 2011 and you get the third release from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah titled Hysterical . There is now a video up for the newest single 'Hysterical' which also matches the albums title. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah just released some new visuals for their title track "Hysterical" off of their latest album, and it looks as if they were going for that artistic vibe in this one, I think. I mean the video is essentially a bunch of paint smeared across the screen with some still frame black and white photographs in the background, so I believe that's considered art.
