What a great show featuring two of Chicago's best: Radar Eyes opens for Disappears at the Empty Bottle Friday. Both bands made very cool, highly recommended albums this year. Disappears will be playing after it headlines at the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival at 9 p.m.

Radar Eyes have released a new video for their track "Summer Chills". The track comes from their recently released self-titled debut album which was released via HoZac Records .
It's fitting that things get a bit psychedelic in the new video from garage-punks Radar Eyes . The clip is for "Summer Chills" from their latest self-titled, and the track just oozes 19602s mind-expanding rock 'n' roll with it's blustering, reverbed guitars and a trace-like vocals that shift between catchy and haunting. In the video, the song gets the simple but effective treatment of the band rocking out in dimly lit places as colors and weird patterns kaleidoscopic-ing across the screen. Check it out below:
