Here's a find that's a little different, a little bit of a departure for Stop Okay Go. Different because I don't usually care for the female singers and bands. At least not in the indiesphere where they are often too cutesy for my taste. (Care for a warm, fuzzy blanket statement??) British singer Emmy the Great definitely fits into this normally gag-inducing twee mold, and yet for some reason, there's something slightly sarcastic to her delivery, her voice , or her words that have make her for the most part [...]

But today's "YouTube Saturday" is devoted to the future. And someone I believe is an incredible talent. Emmy The Great is that someone. She's English and started out a little twee/indie pop but has smoothed out her edges of late and become quite refined.
