They first came onto my radar in early May, when there gothic pop-ballad Hurricane started trending on Tumblr. Here's the thing about MS MR : For some reason, I thought they were a 1970s soul act. I'm not sure where I got that idea, so don't ask, but it rightly led to a lot of confusion as to why their name was showing up on a number of my favourite blogs over the past week. Turns out, they're a modern-day duo out of New York that makes spacey electro-pop sounds and slippery beats.
