When "Neptune," the lead single off of Diver , popped up on the Internet in March of this year, no one really knew what to make of it. At first listen, the new age sounding lead synth and those chilled out organic drums make it sound like something to do yoga to. Music that could be classified as "rave music" will never achieve enough transcendence to hold its own when isolated from the dancefloor. Lemonade seem to realize this and attempt to remedy it. Lemonade is an interesting act that immediately stands out. It's a trio of guys who are seemingly as into Paul Van Dyk as they are Hot Chip and have no problems presenting themselves as such. Lemonade is back with a new album, music video, and tour just in time for summer. Since relocating from San Francisco to Brooklyn, the trio have refined their once-schizophrenic rave style into a jubilant, straightforward alt-pop album called Diver . Without completely abandoning their eccentric, psychedelic roots, Lemonade weaves nostalgic, R&B-influenced dance rhythms into their current sound, enhancing the new record's pop sensibility. Lemonade is an alternative dance band from San Francisco, California, now residing in Brooklyn, New York. The band's music consists of an eccentric amalgam of electronic, world, and rock music influences, ranging from dubstep to caribbean. The band was formed in 2005 and is made up of vocalist Callan Clendenin, bassist Ben Steidel, and drummer Alex Pasternak. The group gained notoriety after moving to New York and releasing its self-titled debut in 2008, and Pure Moods EP in 2010. A música constitui o primeiro single do segundo álbum da banda, de seu nome Diver, que chega às lojas no próximo dia 29 de Maio.
