R & B's breakout left-field artist Frank Ocean with a look into his next project, possibly dubbed Channel Orange TV , slated for July 17th.

Frank Ocean has the whole mysterious vibe down pat. Earlier this morning, the Odd Future -affiliated crooner posted a short snippet of a brand new song onto his Tumblr . He left no comment and from the video, we're left to guess that the new song is called "TV" and will appear on a new release entitled Channel Orange , out on July 17th. Frank Ocean has revealed a teaser clip for what looks to be a forthcoming release. The trailer advertises 'Channel Orange - 7.17.122, which could be a track or a mixtape, but we hope it's Ocean's first album proper. Oh and that's 17 July to us Brits, so we'll soon find out. Watch all 1min 45secs of the video below, we'll let you know when more details emerge.

Frank Ocean uploaded a new video to his Tumblr foretelling a mysterious project called "Channel Orange," an endeavor that will be revealed in July. It's been a busy week for the guy who makes teaser trailers. Following similarly cryptic clips from Muse , The Killers , and The Antlers , super crooner Frank Ocean returns today with a nearly two-minute trailer for something entitled Channel Orange . A new song? His long-awaited debut LP? Whatever the case, it's coming on July 17th, and you can preview some of the new sounds below.

Frank Ocean teases a little part of new material from his side. The song that's hinted could be "Pyramids" and the video also ends with the words,  CHANNEL ORANGE 7.17.12 . Newly released information hints that Frank Ocean will embark on Channel Orange tour this coming July.

Very early this morning, Frank Ocean uploaded a teaser video to Vimeo called "Channel Orange" and we're having trouble figuring out exactly what it is. It could  be the name of the smooth-as-hell song playing in the clip, but the lyrics lead me to believe the song's title is "Cleopatra" or something similar. Maybe it's a new mixtape? Or an EP? Or it  is  a song and it's his lead single for Def Jam? Whatever it is, it sounds great so far. Oh, and we'll have a better idea of what it is on July 17, apparently.

Frank Ocean has gained a lot of fans in a short space of time by uploading tracks to his Tumblr on regular occasions. He seems like the calm and collected member of Odd Future which is a nice change of pace from the hyperactive stage divers. There's also a lot of excitement building regarding new material from the crooner and today that excitement will continue to burn bright. Frank Ocean has just unveiled a trailer for what we suspect might be a new mixtape or single. The trailer features 1:45 seconds of a new Frank Ocean track, which we think might be the ' Pyramids ' track that Tyler, The Creator was going on about early last year. What could it be?

Frank Ocean just blogged the video above, which he uploaded to his vimeo account about an hour ago. We see a car, but we hear (!) a snippet of a new Frank Ocean song. The video ends with the following message: CHANNEL ORANGE 7.17.12 - could this be the announcement for his new single or album? We'll find out on July 17, I presume. update Def Jam have confirmed that Channel Orange is indeed the title of Frank Ocean’s album, set for a release on July 17.
