The 70's and 80's were the golden era of great TV show themes. Whether it'd be the blaxpoitation soulful and funky kinda themes, the 80's synth-pop anthems or the more classic kinda orchestral type of songs, the following themes had a life of their own, outside of their respective tv serie. A lot of these songs, if not all of them have been sampled and/or covered. The Miami Vice Crockett's theme was covered for the 2006 remake (that version is awful though). It was also covered by Fpu Project. Knightrider was sampled by Panjabi MC on Mundian to Back Ke [...]

Its not a joke. That rave rap thing was totally predictable. I remember telling people 3 years ago that electro rap was going to blow up. I feel like its gonna be a hit but I'm not sure if I like the song.
