If you listen to Chiddy Bang then you'll know what I'm talking about when I say that they've got the hottest samples in the indie/alternative hip-hop scene. The Philadelphia based rap group has sampled some of the most top blogged artist out there such as Yelle, Cee-Lo Green, Darwin Deez and MGMT, which has made them the ideal college party music in the past couple of years. Ratatat's third studio album (the appropriately named LP3) was completed in only a few weeks but still retains the integrity and sharpness of Ratatat and Classics. Hot off the press is Ratatat's latest music video for their song "Falcon Jab." The track is from the New York duo's 2008 hit album LP3 . New Yorkers Ratatat have lifted "Falcon Jab" from LP3 to promote the album, and have created this colorful video for the song. Heavily vocodered vocals and Chic-like guitars combine with some ambient electronics, creating a distinctive sound that demonstrates how far they have progressed since their 2004 eponymous debut. The video is mostly generated from low budget split screen effects that look like they might have been lifted directly from the Mac Photobooth software.
