Fol Chen's blips have become blippier, their pop moments have grown poppier, and their clashes with noise have gotten noisier on the band's second release. Fol Chen's wasteland in "In Ruins" is more man-made but an Icelandic volcano will work. Actually, considering Iceland's economic woes it's sorta apropos. This is one of our top singles at the 2010 halfway mark (more on that later this week) and the video is worthy.
