Genauso verhält es sich mit dem Acid House Sound der Underground-Clubs aus Chicago und Detroit, der mit seinem pumpenden Four-to-the-floor Beat bis hinüber nach Europa geschwappt ist, wo die Manchester Jungs von 808 State diesen Rhythmus und Klangspielerein aufgefangen haben.
