London's Simian Mobile Disco is gearing up to release "Hustler", the new single from their latest double-disc full length, Attack Decay Sustain Release , on November 26th. A new joint venture company between Downtown Records ( Eagles of Death Metal, Gnarls Barkley, Justice, Mos Def) and journalist/entrepreneur Peter Rojas has been created and a plan to save the music industry has been put in place. All it takes is about 30 seconds of listening to The Teenagers lyrics to realize that they are bonified weirdos.... but in good way. The parisian trio's lyrics are off the wall and their obsession with Starlett err.. Scarlett Johansson (see music video) is borderline, but the indie-pop-electro band sure make some fun and lovable tunes. The Bat for Lashes debut Fur and Gold has been on repeat in the Badical Beats offices the last week, so I thought I'd do a little video round-up on this wonderful band from Brighton, UK.
