Seattle's Cave Singers release their first Matador album "Invitation Songs" on September 25th. "Invitation Songs" has been described as "folk approached by way of punk rock," which means whatever it means. There are definitely folk elements, but for the most part the guitars and drums keep the music moving in a way that with some exception doesn't feel like folk to me.
