James Blake James Blake 's 2011 has provided as many musical left turns and surprises as his 2010 - his self-titled LP brought his vocals to the fore, while his more recent Enough Thunder EP included a collaboration with Bon Iver and a selection of more expansive compositions. Love What Happened Here , his new EP due on R&S records on December 5, looks to be a return to the experimental, introspective beat-driven music of last year's CMYK and The Bell's Sketch - as ever with Blake, [...]

New James Blake for you here. Love What Happened Here , his upcoming three-track EP, will be his third release of 2011 and will be dropped on December 11th. Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1 premiered one of the three tracks, "Curbside," on his show this past Tuesday. Which side are you on? James Blake - "Curbside" (Radio Rip) ( CoS )

El EP contendrá tres canciones: la homónima Love What Happened Here , [...]

James Blake is making us all look bad – the young Londoner is basically singlehandedly responsible for creating a unique brand of dubstep that amalgamates ambient and pop elements just enough to appeal to the masses, and now he’s got another release, his third in 2011 (after James Blake and Enough Thunder , dropping in time for Christmas. Based on the two tracks we’ve heard from the three-song release, Blake’s mastery of game-changing beatmaking continues to be absolutely mind-boggling and totally refreshing. Continue reading: [...]
Vaguely announced on Facebook last week by R&S, details of James Blake's forthcoming EP were finally released today. Crowds of adoring fans gathered outside the courtroom to hear the details...hold on, that's actually the Michael Jackson fans at the doctor thing, and there was only 20 there, so not really a crowd... Let me start again. Crowds of adoring fans used their computers to discover that the EP will comprise three tunes, with title track 'Love What Happened Here' on the a-side and 'At Birth' and 'Curbside' on the flip. Slated for a possibly snowy December 11th release, [...]

As an encore to his C oS Top Star-earning full-length debut and last October's EP Enough Thunder , James Blake will close out 2011 with a three-track EP titled Love What Happened Here . Due for release on December 11th via R&S Records, the effort will feature its title track as the A-Side and "At Birth" and "Curbside" as B-Sides. R&S Records also handled the release for Blake's 2010 EPs CMYK and Klavierwerke . Below, via Pitchfork , you can hear a radio rip of "Love What Happened Here".

We stumbled upon this track on Twitter and we fell in love with it. In true James Blake fashion, simplicity is key. Beautiful blips and blops all around and a great vocal background. This is not on the debut album, but it should be on his next. If anyone finds a version without the radio clutter on it, send it our way. Click below to listen to it. Filed under: Audio [...]

Despite some silly comments and the revelation that one of the tracks of the year 'The Wilhelm Scream' is "heavily borrowed" , the self-titled James Blake album released last month is sure to be near the top of the list for 2011. Plus, let us remember he's only a young lad. Good news then, he plays Whelan's this month on March 29th. Tickets are just €15 plus fees. Get in. What I love about his music is that he falls between torchlighting piano troubadour and fascinating producer as these [...]

James Blake has been blowing up in the last couple months. The 22 year-old was named an artist to watch by Rolling Stone in December of 2010, and graces this month's cover of The Fader. Blake's self-titled debut tied together some loose ends between his previous EPs and dubstep production work. He's been a name in the London club scene for a minute, and is now bubbling state-side. One song not found on the LP is a favorite BBC radio's Benji B, who recently streamed "Love What Happened Here" on his radio show as well as recently released [...]

Vem ouvir! [...]
James Blake's song 'Love What Happened Here' has been floating around the internet since being premiered on a Fantastic Mr Fox mix, now the full version that's over five-minutes long has been leaked. The track was played during the BBC time of Benji B and it features a lot...
Now that James Blake's self-titled debut is out and people are totally stoked on it, we now find ourselves in the midst of the non-album track parade. It continues today with "Love What Happened Here," a song that would probably fit better on Blake's earlier EPs. While most of his LP took a more somber turn, this track is quite sunny, with organs doing battle with chubby keyboard sounds and his usual array of vocal samples chirping up now and then. Give it a spin in radio rip quality below. [...]

We recently recommended James Blake's debut album so we're as excited as anyone to hear new stuff from him whenever we can get our hands on it. Fortunately for us that's come sooner than we had expected, in the form of a bonus track to the album, entitled "You Know Your Youth," and another track entitled "Love What Happened Here" that Gorilla vs. Bear unearthed . Check out both below. James Blake - "You Know Your Youth" James Blake - "Love What Happened [...]
CHUUUUUTCH! Praise this one, not on the album. Best spiritual we've ever heard since this. James Blake is doing 6 hour long DJ sets of this shit in England, the British radio men are calling it the best dance music. We'd rather club this way. We imagine people moving to this strictly under their sheets, [...]

Well, we just can't get rid of James Blake at the moment can we? Not that a lot of people would want to, as he's making waves all over the place at the minute. Just yesterday we got to listen to yet another bonus track from his album but today we have a rarer thing. A none album track that didn't make the cut. Titled "Love What Happened Here" it was played on a recent Benji B Special. It's not the usual mix from James a little more up beat if that makes sense. Give it a listen [...]
Skittering dancefloor beats from James Blake on non-album track " Love What Happened Here ," which originally appeared on a Fantastic Mr. Fox mix from last year . Thanks to Abeano for the heads up. [ via ]
