Well they only released the trailer yesterday , but today we have the full, nearly eight minute long video for "National Anthem" from Lana's debut album Born To Die . Lot's of polaroid style effects, A$AP JFK and Lana Onassis. "DOPE CINEMA" it says in the description on YouTube - discuss.

Well yesterday Lana Del Rey put out a 4-minute trailer for her 'National Anthem' video and now today she has the full length 7:39 minute version up and running. The video was directed by Anthony Mandler and shows LDR doing her best Marilyn Monroe and Jackie O impressions, and features A$AP Rocky doing his best JFK impersonation. The video is somewhat of a short film which tries to make this 2012 song a vintage version of Lana Del Rey. Love her or hate her you be the judge for yourself.

Yesterday everyone was buzzing about a preview clip of Lana Del Rey 's new video for "National Anthem" where she was playing Jackie Kennedy and A$AP Rocky was starring as JFK . Lana Del Rey 's  National Anthem  video is here! The Anthony Mandler directed clip finds Lana portraying Jackie O and Marilyn Monroe, amidst vintage clips of birthday parties, flower-bed frolicking, bear-skin rugs and a re-portrayal of the JFK assasination. This may just be our second favorite video from  Born To Die . Love the  Happy Birthday segment, and pretty much everything else about this video. Do it Lana! What do you think of  National Anthem?

Everyone's favorite singer, Lana Del Rey released the much-hyped video for National Anthem . The video tells the story of JFK and Jackie O, with A$AP Rocky portraying the assassinated President. We've already seen the extended trailer for Lana Del Rey's "National Anthem," which features ASAP Rocky as John F. Kennedy and LDR as some sort of Jackie Kennedy/Marilyn Monroe hybrid. And now we've got the full eight-minute video for the transcendently dumb song, which is everything you'd expect. And the video, through good performances and gorgeous Super-8 cinematography and a complete indifference to anything related to governing, actually does an amazingly nice job depicting LDR and Rocky as avatars of glamorous, doomed romanticism. The LANA DEL REY gives a bgay greeting to the Mr President, played by the A$AP ROCKY, in the opening segment of her new video, NATIONAL ANTHEM . Too many gorgeous people in this new music video, especially feeling the interracial pairings, there needs to be more of these in pop videos.

Lana Del Rey is the Jackie O (and possibly also the Marilyn) to A$AP Rocky's JFK.  In an interview with BBC Radio 1 (which is unfortunately not available in the US), Lana revealed why she wanted to recreate this historical time in her video: "Every so often, I top what I've done, and this video is definitely the most beautiful thing I've ever done.
