The Walkmen have a new album coming out on Fat Possum on June 10th called Heaven. We got a new track and a trailer so you can sample the goods like a fine caviar. Fat Possum Records is pleased to release "We Can't Be Beat," the lead track from The Walkmen 's upcoming album Heaven , on May 29th. I must admit, I got pretty excited when I saw that The Walkmen had released a new single for their new album today. I got very excited when The Walkmen announced their new record, Heaven , a couple weeks back, and now we get our first taste of it with the title track. Don't know about you, but we sure did love us some Walkmen 's Lisbon back in '10. Still do, in fact, as it's proven to be one of those records with staying power, a different track amongst its ranks nestling into hearts as "favorite" status every few weeks. But there's new Walkmen to be had on the horizon-- indeed, we can see Heaven from here. I've always been big fan of The Walkmen. It appears they have a new album coming out in June. They've released a trailer for the album, which is trendy these days (but still unusual if you ask me). They sound as good as ever, and the trailer is visually compelling. Take a look/listen below. - Joel

The Walkmen have announced the follow up to "Lisbon" and a slew of live dates. The Walkmen will be releasing "Heaven" on June 5 via Fat Possum, headlining CROSSING BROOKLYN FERRY FESTIVAL and opening up for Florence + the Machine which will be played at the legendary Red Rocks on July 25.
