Video: Okkervil River - Lost Coastlines

The internets have been abuzz in the past week with the official announcement that Okkervil River will be releasing a brand new record, The Stand Ins , on September 9th. Some confusion remains over whether it's supposed to be a proper appendix to their last record, as they've previously done ( Black Sheep Boy Appendix ) or an entirely new stand-alone record with similar themes. A little while ago Okkervil River (insert gaudy superlatives here) appeared on WOXY . They played 4 songs including a new one, "Lost Coastlines". It is truly excellent as you would expect with this band. Apparently this song will appear on an appendix to "The Stage Names" that should be out before the year is over. Happy days.
