Tweet There are three new entries this week as well as a new number one. To coincide with their album Shrines getting our AOTW gong, Purity Ring have hit top spot with their latest single 'Fineshrine'. Dirty Projectors move up nine spots to 4 with 'Gun Has No Trigger while the three new entries are led off by two Portland based acts, the more well know electro pop quartet Chromatics, 'The Streets Will Never Look The Same' (16) and the less well known [...]

Here’s the latest clip in the recent string of videos from Chromatics highlighting tracks from their new album, ‘Kill For Love’. This time it’s ‘These Streets Will Never Look The Same’ that’s treated to visuals. The video was, once again, directed by Alberto Rossini and was shot on videotape live in Las Vegas, Mexico City and Montreal. ‘Kill For Love’ is out now on Italians Do It Better. New videos from hands down two of our favorite records of the year.

Watch the Alberto Rossini directed video for Chromatics new single These Streets Will Never Look The Same , taken from their new album Kill For Love .
Chromatics ' fourth studio album Kill for Love has seen much love from not only us here at SKoA, but from fans and the blogosphere as a whole, and deservedly so. It makes sense then that the Oregon outfit has been releasing a steady flow of videos and singles from the album, with the latest being the sixth single "These Streets Will Never Look The Same." The single has also been given the video treatment, with frequent collaborator Alberto Rossini once again helming the director's chair. Blurry black and white footage of the band on [...]
Although Chromatics ' superb Kill for Love has finally been released, that hasn't marked the end of the steady stream of videos from the record. Here's another clip for a tune from the possible album-of-the-year candidate, this time for an edited version of "These Streets Will Never Look the Same." Yes, there is a lot of driving. With Ruth Radelet's usual vocals replaced by a heavily Autotuned voice, this track comes off as a little more impersonal than much of Kill for Love , but it's no less intoxicating. It ends with a tag of Donna [...]
Hold on a second while we check – yep, Chromatics ’ impossibly slow-burning aural David Lynch film Kill for Love is still one of our favorite records of the year. We wouldn’t say we’re especially partial to new single “These Streets Will Never Look the Same” (mostly because we’re partial to the whole record), but we do love its “Edge of Seventeen” groove, distorted vocals, and fuzzed-out synths that sound like ghost transmissions. We’re also loving its video – Alberto Rossini , who made a handful of preview [...]
Welcome to the video roundup #4! This week I selected 5 video clips from recent releases of artists I highly suggest you to keep an eye on. The Norwegian duo Lemâitre is back with a new EP called "Relativity 23. It includes 5 indie electronic tracks, very stick to Lemaître's sound. The song "Time To Realize" comes with a video clip, that seems to show how a North Korean interrogation can turn to something funky! Gigamesh also released a [...]
Chromatics have a new video for "These Streets Will Never Look the Same", which belongs to their latest album "Kill For Love". The clip was directed by Alberto Rossini, who's the same director for their videos of their latest LP. Enjoy...!
Chromatics : These Streets Will Never Look The Same - Video
Following the same theme as their previous video although this one was filmed in Vegas, Mexico City and Montreal, check out the CHROMATICS ' blurry evocative video, THESE STREETS WILL NEVER LOOK THE SAME . Last 25 sex feature the DONNA SUMMER's toon, I FEEL LOVE, playing on the radio. Gene.
