For those avid followers of music, I'd be surprised if you hadn't heard of Fleet Foxes. Yes-I realize that is somewhat antagonistic, but really--they we're as up and coming popular as Vampire Weekend, and how could you not heard of Vampire Weekend! Really, I'll fight about it. =) Either way, take a look at this video of Fleet Foxes song "Mykonos."

For all you vinyl collectors, Sub Pop will be releasing a new-ish Fleet Foxes 7" on May 5th. "Myknonos", the best track off of 2008's Sun Giant EP is the A side. The B side is "False Knight on the Road" which is previously unreleased in the US. Myknonos has long been available from Sub Pop as a free download, so this vinyl edition is really for the die hard fans and hard core vinyl afficianados. I finally picked up Fleet Foxes Sun Giant EP after hearing "Mykonos" on SNL . Thanks to NBC, you won't see that here, but can watch the official video.

Fleet Foxes' new video "Mykonos," is a stop - motion paper animation video. The claymation for this video was done by Sam Pecknold, brother to lead singer Robin, who also did the claymation for "White Winter Hymnal."

Look through your copy of Fleet Foxes self titled debut and you wont see this song anywhere on the track listing. Why you ask? How so?If you knew of the Foxes before their debut release you probably would of heard or already own their Sun Giant EP which came out a few months before the LP.
